Ace of Pentaclesfor Aries · Work and Career
"New Opportunity isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A hand--issuing from a cloud--holds up a pentacle. Pentacles signify wealth, stability and groundedness (earth elements) and the ace represents the start of a new journey. Together, this card signifies the start of a new grounded path to wealth or prosperity.
A windfall in your life (a gift, a bonus, an inheritance) that allows you to start a new journey. In a romantic sense, perhaps a new person is coming into your life that will lead to great financial stability (a power couple, a person who helps you find your own potential or person who will be quite wealthy). A new job that might lead to huge/new kind of opportunity..
An unearned windfall has come into your life and it's exposed a more dark side of yourself. Remember this gift was meant to start you on the journey not be the end of it (it's the ace of pentacles afterall). Don't fall back to 'i'll marry rich' or thinking others will provide for you without you putting in effort. Do the hard work so you can take advantage the luck the universe can provide you!

Ace of Pentacles for Aries in Work and Career
The Initiator
Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Ace of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn squares Aries, so the card asks for the move Aries is least fluent in: change one concrete arrangement this week. The friction is the content, not an obstacle to it. An ace is a seed rather than a result. Upright it means the thing is genuinely available and completely untested.
When reading about work through an Aries lens, the Ace of Pentacles says that you feel like work is the place you prove you are not wasting time, a problem to solve fast (or escape), and something that only matters if you can see the finish line tomorrow. This has either led to building something from nothing in record time or to leaving behind half-finished things because the sprint ended and the marathon scared you. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Aries blind spot in it is the feeling that nothing you do makes any difference, that you are not the center of the story.
In practice that can look like a contract landing. Whatever form it takes, it is just arriving and has not been tested yet.
