King of Wandsfor Leo · The Future
"Visionary Leadership isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A king sits on a throne surveying his domain. Wands represent passion and the king card represents mastery and masculine energy. Typically the face cards represent a person/event (or a part of yourself embodied). Together this card means a a creative genius or visionary entrepreneur: they are passionate and quick to action as well as wise and demanding.
You have reached a level of success that allows you to guide others and execute on your passions/goals with authority (or are spending a lot of time with someone who has reached a high level of success/power). Romantically this can mean a more mature relationship built off of shared goals, or a bit of butting heads around things you are passionate about. This card signifies an entrepreneurial energy, you have started something important and are executing on it. Be honest and just with your power.
You have reached a high level of success/authority (or are interacting with someone that is high power). High power/authority has allowed for an entitled energy to bubble up. The demands being made are harsh and unreasonable and no one feels comfortable objecting. Perhaps this comes from a chip on the shoulder energy that got you to where you are, but is no longer serving you here. Investigate the roots of this overbearing energy and reign it into a healthy place.

King of Wands for Leo in The Future
The Creator
Wands are the fire suit, so the King of Wands sits in Leo. That makes this Leo's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Leo already believes it is good at: spend the energy on one thing today. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.
When reading about what comes next through a Leo lens, the King of Wands says that you feel like the future is something you can script into a highlight reel, something where your name is known (or your work is recognized), and something that should feel like it was always heading toward you. This has either created real ambition that pulls you forward, or left you unable to enjoy the present because it does not yet look like success. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Leo blind spot in it is being ordinary, being forgotten, being the one no one thought to invite, being seen doing something mediocre.
In practice that can look like a leap, or booking the thing. Whatever form it takes, it is being decided by whoever holds the authority.
