Page of Cupsfor Leo · Love and Relationships

Cups are the water suit, so the Page of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer sits directly beside Leo, the one relationship a sign cannot see clearly because it is too close to get any distance on. What it asks for is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. The difficulty is noticing it is being asked at all. Upright, this is someone at the start of the element: sincere, curious, not yet any good at it.

When reading about relationships through a Leo lens, the Page of Cups says that you feel like love is something you give in grand gestures and then measure back in kind, something that should feel like being chosen (or being enough), and something you do not know how to do quietly. This has either created partnerships where both people show up fully visible, or left you wondering if anyone would love you if you stopped performing. The thing you're not saying out loud is the thing that matters most. The Leo blind spot in it is being ordinary, being forgotten, being the one no one thought to invite, being seen doing something mediocre.

In practice that can look like a conversation that changes the temperature, or heartache. Whatever form it takes, it arrives as news, or as someone new and sincere.
