Seven of Wands for Gemini in Work and Career

The Communicator

Wands are the fire suit, so the Seven of Wands sits in Aries. Aries sextiles Gemini, which is help that has to be taken up rather than help that arrives. What it asks for is this: spend the energy on one thing today. Gemini is perfectly capable of that, which is exactly why not doing it needs a better excuse. Upright, the assessment is being made alone, which is where it is easiest to be wrong.

When reading about work through a Gemini lens, the Seven of Wands says that you feel like work is the place you prove you can learn anything fast, a problem to solve before it gets boring, and something you can always trade for the next interesting angle (or stay in if the conversation keeps surprising you). This has either led to real expertise across unexpected domains or to a resume that reads like someone with too many browser tabs open and none of them fully loaded. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Gemini blind spot in it is stillness, silence, the moment when talking stops and you have to feel what you actually feel, the weight of having chosen one thing and not the other.

In practice that can look like a new role or project. Whatever form it takes, it is being weighed alone, where it is easiest to lie to yourself.
