Six of Wandsfor Leo · The Future
"Victory isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A laurelled horseman bears one staff adorned with a laurel crown; footmen with staves are at his side. Wands represent passion and six represents harmony. Together this card represents a victory lap-- you are getting some recognition for the hard work you have put in and it feels good!
After a tumultuous period of having to deal with competition and struggle, you are being recognized for your hard work and creativity. You are finally with someone who matches your energy and drive or working in a place that recognizes your accomplishments. Take pride in what you've achieved-- you've come to it honorably.
Someone else is getting recognized instead of you-- either for treacherous reasons or it's just not yet your time. Continue putting in effort, don't give up, the truth comes out eventually and your time will come.

Six of Wands for Leo in The Future
The Creator
Wands are the fire suit, so the Six of Wands sits in Leo. That makes this Leo's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Leo already believes it is good at: spend the energy on one thing today. Upright, the recovery is underway with the loss still in the room.
When reading about what comes next through a Leo lens, the Six of Wands says that you feel like the future is something you can script into a highlight reel, something where your name is known (or your work is recognized), and something that should feel like it was always heading toward you. This has either created real ambition that pulls you forward, or left you unable to enjoy the present because it does not yet look like success. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Leo blind spot in it is being ordinary, being forgotten, being the one no one thought to invite, being seen doing something mediocre.
In practice that can look like a leap, or booking the thing. Whatever form it takes, it is recovering, with the loss still in the room.
