Six of Wands for Taurus in Work and Career

The Builder

Wands are the fire suit, so the Six of Wands sits in Aries. Aries sits directly beside Taurus, the one relationship a sign cannot see clearly because it is too close to get any distance on. What it asks for is this: spend the energy on one thing today. The difficulty is noticing it is being asked at all. Upright, the recovery is underway with the loss still in the room.

When reading about work through a Taurus lens, the Six of Wands says that you feel like work is where you prove your value stays constant, a place you have learned completely, and something you protect from disruption. This has either led to becoming irreplaceable in a role that stopped teaching you anything, or to moving deliberately into new work and building mastery there from the ground up. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Taurus blind spot in it is the feeling that the ground is shifting under something they thought was permanent.

In practice that can look like a new role or project. Whatever form it takes, it is recovering, with the loss still in the room.
