The Hermitfor Aquarius · The Future
"The answers are in the quiet you keep avoiding."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A lonely figure holding a lantern and looking to the left stands on a mountain, walking stick in hand. He represents solitude, but also the wisdom gained from deeply knowing your inner truth. This takes time and mental energy, but leads to a kind of lightness
You are being called to turn inward, focus on listening to yourself and become a master in your own voice. Spend time alone (maybe through an artist's date, meditation, or journaling) to connect with your inner hermit. Ponder what you value most and keep that in mind as you navigate this busy world.
You are avoiding a part of yourself or some deep truth that you fear to admit. Perhaps you have disconnected from that part of yourself. Alternatively, you may have over indexed on solitude and need to reach out and spend time with people who align with your new found values

The Hermit for Aquarius in The Future
The Visionary
Mercury against Uranus-ruled Aquarius puts the whole thing into words, which is either the relief or the trap depending on whether Aquarius then acts on them. Upright, this has turned inward, to the place where the outer tools stop working.
When reading about what comes next through an Aquarius lens, the Hermit card says that you feel like the future is vivid and real and twenty years out, something you can see in detail (or build in theory), and the next twenty weeks are a blur you do not know how to hold. This has either made you a visionary others follow, or left you scattered across possibilities with nothing finished. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Aquarius blind spot in it is being ordinary, or worse, being needed in a way that pins them down.
In practice that can look like a door closing and it mattering, or the next chapter starting without permission. Whatever form it takes, it is turning inward, where the usual moves stop working.
