Moon is a luminary and Sagittarius runs on Jupiter, so this card lights something up rather than fixing it. It is asking to be seen before it is solved. Upright, this is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
When reading about work through a Sagittarius lens, the Moon card says that you feel like work is the place you prove you can master something fast, a stepping stone to the thing you actually want, and the point at which comfort starts to feel like a cage. This has either led you to build real expertise in one thing or to have a resume full of chapters with no book. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Sagittarius blind spot in it is the specific weight of a single commitment, the slowness of actually building something, the possibility that it might not be enough.
In practice that can look like a change large enough to reorganise the rest, or the job becoming a different job. Whatever form it takes, it is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
