The Star tarot card

"Hope isn't naive. It's your most radical act."

Six quick picks first, then your reading

On the card

Much like a real star, the star card is a guiding light from above that can help you when the way is unclear. The star card shows a woman connected to a stream surrounded by stars. Her connection to emotions, her own creativity and the divine are in sync. A very healing card after the disruption of the Tower before it

Upright
HopeInspirationRenewalSerenity

A guiding presence has come into your life (especially after a big upheaval like a breakup, a career change or a loss of faith). Let yourself heal from the traumas of your past and have faith and trust in the wisdom being provided to you. Let the path set by your own north star guide you forward

Reversed

You are in deep need of guidance, but aide is not on the horizon. The sky is cloudy and you are unsure of up from down. Do not panic (although I understand why you would), sometimes not knowing is just part of the process. Do the next right thing and trust that day will eventually come

Its place in the deck.

Major ArcanaCard 17
One of the 22 Major Arcana. They point to the large themes and turning points in a life, not the day to day. When one comes up, the reading is about something bigger than this week.
StageThe return
After the Fool, the Major Arcana run in three stages of seven: the outer world (1 to 7), the turn inward (8 to 14) and the return (15 to 21). This one is in the return: meeting what was buried, and coming back changed rather than fixed.

The Star for Virgo in Money and Wealth

The Analyst

Uranus works on a longer clock than Mercury-ruled Virgo is used to. Whatever this is, it will not resolve on Virgo's preferred timeline. Upright, this is surfacing whether or not it was invited.

When reading about money through a Virgo lens, the Star card says that you feel like money is something you track precisely, a source of quiet anxiety (or control), and something you save rather than spend because you're not sure what it's for yet. This has either led to genuine financial stability and the ability to help others, or to a bank account that never feels full enough. You have not looked at your full financial picture all at once, and the not-looking costs more than the looking would. The Virgo blind spot in it is the feeling of being useless, or of having wasted time on something that didn't hold up.

In practice that can look like a change in circumstance rather than an amount, or what money is for shifting. Whatever form it takes, it is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
