Three of Wandsfor Capricorn
"Expansion isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A calm, stately personage, with his back turned, looking from a cliff's edge at ships passing over the sea. Three staves are planted in the ground, and he leans slightly on one of them. Wands represent passion and three represents community. Together this card represents building a community of supporters and finding people who share your passions.
You started a new hobby or new business recently and you are growing a community around that. You are building something with others and sharing the load. Triangles are strong structural supports and you building out foundational friendships and relationships that will serve you for a long time and bear the load of your future goals.
You are having trouble connecting with people-- perhaps you are being rigid in your beliefs and vision for the future. Community involves some sacrifice for the shared dream. Perhaps you are just simply not with the people you need to be with. Don't bend when it comes to your true morals and values, but don't let your passions prevent you from connecting with your loved ones. Find common ground and mutual respect.

Three of Wands for Capricorn
The Architect
Capricorn is an Earth cardinal sign ruled by Saturn, whose natural subject is career, public standing, authority, legacy. Wands are the fire suit, so the Three of Wands sits in Aries. Aries squares Capricorn, so the card asks for the move Capricorn is least fluent in: spend the energy on one thing today. The friction is the content, not an obstacle to it. Capricorn is cardinal: it starts things, and this is a card about starting, so the danger is starting again instead of continuing. The card and the sign pull in different directions, and the friction is the information. Upright, it has become visible to other people, which is the part that makes it real.
