Ace of Pentaclesfor Cancer
"New Opportunity isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A hand--issuing from a cloud--holds up a pentacle. Pentacles signify wealth, stability and groundedness (earth elements) and the ace represents the start of a new journey. Together, this card signifies the start of a new grounded path to wealth or prosperity.
A windfall in your life (a gift, a bonus, an inheritance) that allows you to start a new journey. In a romantic sense, perhaps a new person is coming into your life that will lead to great financial stability (a power couple, a person who helps you find your own potential or person who will be quite wealthy). A new job that might lead to huge/new kind of opportunity..
An unearned windfall has come into your life and it's exposed a more dark side of yourself. Remember this gift was meant to start you on the journey not be the end of it (it's the ace of pentacles afterall). Don't fall back to 'i'll marry rich' or thinking others will provide for you without you putting in effort. Do the hard work so you can take advantage the luck the universe can provide you!

Ace of Pentacles for Cancer
The Nurturer
Cancer is a Water cardinal sign ruled by Moon, whose natural subject is home, roots, family, the private interior. Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Ace of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn sits directly opposite Cancer, so this card describes the half of the situation Cancer habitually hands to someone else. What it wants is this: change one concrete arrangement this week. Handing that to another person is exactly the habit. Cancer is cardinal: it starts things, and this is a card about starting, so the danger is starting again instead of continuing. Earth and Water feed each other, so this card's logic will feel natural here. Natural is not the same as correct. An ace is a seed rather than a result. Upright it means the thing is genuinely available and completely untested.
