Nine of Pentaclesfor Cancer
"Abundance isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A woman, with a bird upon her wrist, stands amidst a great abundance of grapevines in the garden of a manorial house. Pentacles represents wealth and eight represents achievement. Together this card signifies luxury and abundance.
A luxurious card-- all about financial independence and pleasure. You've worked hard and are now enjoying the fruits of your labor. Swim in that pool of money a little. Romantically, your options are all good and you should focus on yourself and your own pleasure.
Perhaps you are overindulging, eating too many sweets (metaphorically) and getting sick. Remember that buying things doesn't actually solve your problems and focus on being comfortable living within your means.

Nine of Pentacles for Cancer
The Nurturer
Cancer is a Water cardinal sign ruled by Moon, whose natural subject is home, roots, family, the private interior. Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Nine of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn sits directly opposite Cancer, so this card describes the half of the situation Cancer habitually hands to someone else. What it wants is this: change one concrete arrangement this week. Handing that to another person is exactly the habit. Cancer is cardinal: it starts things, and this card is about finishing, so the pull will be to begin something new instead. Earth and Water feed each other, so this card's logic will feel natural here. Natural is not the same as correct. Upright, it is nearly finished, and the last stretch of it is mostly solitary.
