Swords are the air suit, so the Ace of Swords sits in Libra. Libra squares Cancer, so the card asks for the move Cancer is least fluent in: write the sentence down and stop rewriting it. The friction is the content, not an obstacle to it. An ace is a seed rather than a result. Upright it means the thing is genuinely available and completely untested.
When reading about relationships through a Cancer lens, the Ace of Swords says that you feel like a partner is someone whose silences you learn to read, whose needs you sense before they name them, and who you fear will discover you are not actually that intuitive. This has either kept you carefully managing the relationship to prevent abandonment, or led you to find someone who does their own emotional work and meets you halfway.
