On the card

A hand issuing from a cloud grasps a wand above lush landscape. Wands represent passion and the ace represents the start of a new journey. Together this card represents a passionate vision or energy that sparks a new adventure.

Upright
InspirationNew PassionCreative SparkPotential

You have the spark of an idea-- follow it! Lots of exciting energy is swirling around you, perhaps you just met someone new and are in the throws of a new relationship (or have found a new facet in someone you know well). Outside of romance, you have a business idea or project to pursue which is lighting a fire under you.

Reversed

You are being held back from something you are passionate about-- perhaps because it will mean a change for you or perhaps you are afraid you might not achieve the vision. Either way, let the passion and creativity flow and make plans.

Ace of Wands for Taurus in Love and Relationships

The Builder

Wands are the fire suit, so the Ace of Wands sits in Aries. Aries sits directly beside Taurus, the one relationship a sign cannot see clearly because it is too close to get any distance on. What it asks for is this: spend the energy on one thing today. The difficulty is noticing it is being asked at all. An ace is a seed rather than a result. Upright it means the thing is genuinely available and completely untested.

When reading about relationships through a Taurus lens, the Ace of Wands says that you feel like your partner is a life you tend carefully, a person whose patterns you have memorized, and someone who should want the same future you do. This has either meant staying in something comfortable that stopped being kind, or building something so solid with someone that both of you know what the next ten years will hold. The thing you're not saying out loud is the thing that matters most. The Taurus blind spot in it is the feeling that the ground is shifting under something they thought was permanent.

In practice that can look like a fight with heat in it. Whatever form it takes, it is just arriving and has not been tested yet.
