Six quick picks first, then your reading

On the card

A hand issuing from a cloud grasps a wand above lush landscape. Wands represent passion and the ace represents the start of a new journey. Together this card represents a passionate vision or energy that sparks a new adventure.

Upright
InspirationNew PassionCreative SparkPotential

You have the spark of an idea-- follow it! Lots of exciting energy is swirling around you, perhaps you just met someone new and are in the throws of a new relationship (or have found a new facet in someone you know well). Outside of romance, you have a business idea or project to pursue which is lighting a fire under you.

Reversed

You are being held back from something you are passionate about-- perhaps because it will mean a change for you or perhaps you are afraid you might not achieve the vision. Either way, let the passion and creativity flow and make plans.

Ace of Wands for Aries in Love and Relationships

The Initiator

Wands are the fire suit, so the Ace of Wands sits in Aries. That makes this Aries's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Aries already believes it is good at: spend the energy on one thing today. An ace is a seed rather than a result. Upright it means the thing is genuinely available and completely untested.

When reading about relationships through an Aries lens, the Ace of Wands says that you feel like your person is the spark that tells you that you are alive, the mirror you look in to check if you are still winning (or losing), and something you can set on fire and rebuild constantly. This has either created a partnership where you both move fast and break things together, or left you chasing the feeling of the first three months with person after person. The thing you're not saying out loud is the thing that matters most. The Aries blind spot in it is the feeling that nothing you do makes any difference, that you are not the center of the story.

In practice that can look like a fight with heat in it. Whatever form it takes, it is just arriving and has not been tested yet.
