Pluto works on a longer clock than Moon-ruled Cancer is used to. Whatever this is, it will not resolve on Cancer's preferred timeline. Upright, this has turned inward, to the place where the outer tools stop working.
When reading about relationships through a Cancer lens, the Death says that you feel like a partner is someone whose silences you learn to read, whose needs you sense before they name them, and who you fear will discover you are not actually that intuitive. This has either kept you carefully managing the relationship to prevent abandonment, or led you to find someone who does their own emotional work and meets you halfway. The thing you're not saying out loud is the thing that matters most. The Cancer blind spot in it is being seen as a burden, or as someone whose needs are too much.
In practice that can look like a turning point rather than an incident, or meeting someone who changes the shape of it. Whatever form it takes, it is turning inward, where the usual moves stop working.
