Eight of Cupsfor Libra
"Walking Away isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
This card is about seeing all the possibilities and not liking any of them. Sometimes you are told that the only options are the ones right in front of you, but in many situations that is not actually true. Walking away is also an option-- this card reminds us to not be limited by what we see before us and to seek out new/novel ideas
Everything feels like it should be perfect, but deep down you are unsatisfied. Maybe you are unhappy in a relationship that on paper looks great, maybe you are miserable at a job that pays well, or maybe you come home after a hangout with your cup less full than when you left. Pay attention to these signs, they are telling you to seek out a new path. Cutting ties may be painful, but living according to your own values will feel more rewarding (and sustainable) long term
You are denying your deep truth about a situation, you know it's not quite a perfect fit, but due to some reason (maybe trauma, maybe comfort, maybe fear of change) you are not listening to the signs that are clear in front of you. The eight of cups reversed reminds you to listen to your own truth

Eight of Cups for Libra
The Harmonizer
Libra is an Air cardinal sign ruled by Venus, whose natural subject is partnership, contracts, the other person, open enemies. Cups are the water suit, so the Eight of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer squares Libra, so the card asks for the move Libra is least fluent in: say the feeling to the person it is about. The friction is the content, not an obstacle to it. Libra is cardinal: it starts things, and this card is about finishing, so the pull will be to begin something new instead. The card and the sign pull in different directions, and the friction is the information. Upright, the work is available, and it is repetitive rather than dramatic.
