"Walking Away isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
This card is about seeing all the possibilities and not liking any of them. Sometimes you are told that the only options are the ones right in front of you, but in many situations that is not actually true. Walking away is also an option-- this card reminds us to not be limited by what we see before us and to seek out new/novel ideas
Everything feels like it should be perfect, but deep down you are unsatisfied. Maybe you are unhappy in a relationship that on paper looks great, maybe you are miserable at a job that pays well, or maybe you come home after a hangout with your cup less full than when you left. Pay attention to these signs, they are telling you to seek out a new path. Cutting ties may be painful, but living according to your own values will feel more rewarding (and sustainable) long term
You are denying your deep truth about a situation, you know it's not quite a perfect fit, but due to some reason (maybe trauma, maybe comfort, maybe fear of change) you are not listening to the signs that are clear in front of you. The eight of cups reversed reminds you to listen to your own truth

Eight of Cups for Sagittarius in Money and Wealth
The Seeker
Cups are the water suit, so the Eight of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer and Sagittarius are quincunx, two signs with nothing in common: no shared element, mode, or polarity. This card will not slot neatly into how Sagittarius already operates. What it wants is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. It has to be done deliberately or it will not happen. Upright, the work is available, and it is repetitive rather than dramatic.
When reading about money through a Sagittarius lens, the Eight of Cups says that you feel like money is the fuel for the next adventure, something you earn and spend in cycles, and less important than the freedom it temporarily buys. This has either let you stay flexible and take risks or has left you broke and restless and unable to imagine building something that lasts. You have not looked at your full financial picture all at once, and the not-looking costs more than the looking would. The Sagittarius blind spot in it is the specific weight of a single commitment, the slowness of actually building something, the possibility that it might not be enough.
In practice that can look like money arriving through a person rather than a job. Whatever form it takes, it is going to take unglamorous repetition.
