Cups are the water suit, so the Eight of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer and Sagittarius are quincunx, two signs with nothing in common: no shared element, mode, or polarity. This card will not slot neatly into how Sagittarius already operates. What it wants is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. It has to be done deliberately or it will not happen. Upright, the work is available, and it is repetitive rather than dramatic.
When reading about yourself through a Sagittarius lens, the Eight of Cups says that you feel like you are someone who figures things out and moves forward, a person who does not get stuck, and someone who has to keep moving or the sadness catches up.
