Eight of Pentaclesfor Gemini
"Mastery isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
An artist in stone at his work, which he exhibits in the form of trophies. Pentacles represents wealth and eight represents achievement. Together this card signifies a productive period and artistry.
This card signifies that your hard work is paying off-- you've put in the time and you are proud of your creations. Spend time crafting and creating. Romantically, perhaps you will find someone who has the same creative passions and/or will collaborate on a project together.
You are working hard but getting no where. A frustrating card-- you are spinning your wheels on projects that bring you satisfaction. Follow your passions and listen to your heart. Take a break.

Eight of Pentacles for Gemini
The Communicator
Gemini is an Air mutable sign ruled by Mercury, whose natural subject is talk, siblings, short trips, the daily traffic of information. Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Eight of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn and Gemini are quincunx, two signs with nothing in common: no shared element, mode, or polarity. This card will not slot neatly into how Gemini already operates. What it wants is this: change one concrete arrangement this week. It has to be done deliberately or it will not happen. Gemini is mutable: it adapts, and this card is about completion, which asks the one thing mutable signs resist, which is settling on a final form. The card points at a material fact where the sign is built to think about it. The fact does not need more thinking. Upright, the work is available, and it is repetitive rather than dramatic.
