Eight of Pentaclesfor Virgo
"Mastery isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
An artist in stone at his work, which he exhibits in the form of trophies. Pentacles represents wealth and eight represents achievement. Together this card signifies a productive period and artistry.
This card signifies that your hard work is paying off-- you've put in the time and you are proud of your creations. Spend time crafting and creating. Romantically, perhaps you will find someone who has the same creative passions and/or will collaborate on a project together.
You are working hard but getting no where. A frustrating card-- you are spinning your wheels on projects that bring you satisfaction. Follow your passions and listen to your heart. Take a break.

Eight of Pentacles for Virgo
The Analyst
Virgo is an Earth mutable sign ruled by Mercury, whose natural subject is work, routine, health, service, the daily how. Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Eight of Pentacles sits in Virgo. That makes this Virgo's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Virgo already believes it is good at: change one concrete arrangement this week. Virgo is mutable: it adapts, and this card is about completion, which asks the one thing mutable signs resist, which is settling on a final form. Earth meeting its own element is amplification, which raises the sign's strengths and its usual failure by the same amount. Upright, the work is available, and it is repetitive rather than dramatic.
