Wands are the fire suit, so the Five of Wands sits in Aries. Aries sits directly beside Taurus, the one relationship a sign cannot see clearly because it is too close to get any distance on. What it asks for is this: spend the energy on one thing today. The difficulty is noticing it is being asked at all. Upright, the loss is happening rather than being feared, which is the harder and simpler thing.
When reading about money through a Taurus lens, the Five of Wands says that you feel like money is proof you will not be abandoned, a problem you solve by having more than you need, and something you do not talk about.
