King of Pentaclesfor Aquarius · The Future
"Wealth isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A man sits (somewhat lazily, but perhaps dignified) on a throne and surrounded by lusciousness. Pentacles represent wealth and the king card represents mastery. This card represents a person who has 'made it' financially. Someone who knows how to act in order to generate wealth. Money has a corrupting influence and you can see that with this card.
You are placed in a situation where you need to be the financial leader. Either at work or in your personal life. You will be successful as you have all the tools and mastery to handle the job. This card can also mean someone in your life has true domain over wealth. Romantically this card means you need a partner who brings a mastery of finances to the table.
Someone in your life is using their wealth to hold power over you-- perhaps you are stuck in a job you dislike or perhaps you have a family member who is paying for something you need. Perhaps you are feeling a lack of generosity from others or from within yourself. Displays of wealth do not make you rich; being rich does not mean you are generous.

King of Pentacles for Aquarius in The Future
The Visionary
Pentacles are the earth suit, so the King of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn sits directly beside Aquarius, the one relationship a sign cannot see clearly because it is too close to get any distance on. What it asks for is this: change one concrete arrangement this week. The difficulty is noticing it is being asked at all. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.
When reading about what comes next through an Aquarius lens, the King of Pentacles says that you feel like the future is vivid and real and twenty years out, something you can see in detail (or build in theory), and the next twenty weeks are a blur you do not know how to hold. This has either made you a visionary others follow, or left you scattered across possibilities with nothing finished. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Aquarius blind spot in it is being ordinary, or worse, being needed in a way that pins them down.
In practice that can look like a plan with an actual date on it, or somewhere to live. Whatever form it takes, it is being decided by whoever holds the authority.
