King of Pentaclesfor Virgo
"Wealth isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A man sits (somewhat lazily, but perhaps dignified) on a throne and surrounded by lusciousness. Pentacles represent wealth and the king card represents mastery. This card represents a person who has 'made it' financially. Someone who knows how to act in order to generate wealth. Money has a corrupting influence and you can see that with this card.
You are placed in a situation where you need to be the financial leader. Either at work or in your personal life. You will be successful as you have all the tools and mastery to handle the job. This card can also mean someone in your life has true domain over wealth. Romantically this card means you need a partner who brings a mastery of finances to the table.
Someone in your life is using their wealth to hold power over you-- perhaps you are stuck in a job you dislike or perhaps you have a family member who is paying for something you need. Perhaps you are feeling a lack of generosity from others or from within yourself. Displays of wealth do not make you rich; being rich does not mean you are generous.

King of Pentacles for Virgo
The Analyst
Virgo is an Earth mutable sign ruled by Mercury, whose natural subject is work, routine, health, service, the daily how. Pentacles are the earth suit, so the King of Pentacles sits in Virgo. That makes this Virgo's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Virgo already believes it is good at: change one concrete arrangement this week. Virgo is mutable: it adapts, and this card is about completion, which asks the one thing mutable signs resist, which is settling on a final form. Earth meeting its own element is amplification, which raises the sign's strengths and its usual failure by the same amount. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.
