Knight of Cupsfor Capricorn · The Future
"Romance isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The knights are often bringing you what your heart has desired. The knight of cups has ventured far to bring you love, but is that really something another can find on your behalf?
A whirlwind romance, getting carried away in a moment. Possibly a grand declaration (a proposal perhaps?). Outside of romance, perhaps a boss is championing your work or a teacher is advocating for you.
You thought a perfect romantic figure (a knight in shining armour) was going to fix all your issues, but now that the fervor has calmed you look around and see your problems are still unresolved. Your emotions are even more riled up.

Knight of Cups for Capricorn in The Future
The Architect
Cups are the water suit, so the Knight of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer sits directly opposite Capricorn, so this card describes the half of the situation Capricorn habitually hands to someone else. What it wants is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. Handing that to another person is exactly the habit. Upright, this is the element at full speed with nothing slowing it down.
When reading about what comes next through a Capricorn lens, the Knight of Cups says that you feel like you have a plan written down somewhere (or in your head), something you are building toward that justifies the present, and measured in concrete milestones not ordinary days. This has either created a life with real forward motion and purpose or one where you reach each milestone and immediately set the next one, never actually arriving anywhere. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Capricorn blind spot in it is being useless, being a burden, being the person who could not hold it together.
In practice that can look like wanting something you had stopped admitting to, or a place that feels like home. Whatever form it takes, it arrives fast and without brakes.
