Knight of Swordsfor Aries
"Action isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A knight riding in full armour, as if scattering his enemies. A prototypical hero of romantic chivalry; he might almost be Galahad, whose sword is swift and sure because he is clean of heart. Swords represent thoughts and knights represent a hero or adventurer. Together the knight of swords represents resistance to lies and injustice. A valiant figure willing to fight for what they believe. They bring you hope in a time of darkness, that truth will prevail and all is not lost.
The knight helps us be brave and take immediate action. You are called to take a stand, especially in the written word. Be assertive and forward. In a romantic way, this card can mean someone is being very forward with you (or perhaps you will get a love letter confession soon). The knight can be a little overeager, but they are honest in their actions.
You are overly confident (or dealing with someone who is over confident). True confidence comes from a sense of your own ability and knowledge of your own limits. Be honest with your own short comings and do not fear them or over/understate them. Over confidence masks a deep sense of insecurity so beware of an extremely overconfident boss/lover/friend.

Knight of Swords for Aries
The Initiator
Aries is a Fire cardinal sign ruled by Mars, whose natural subject is the self, the body, first impressions. Swords are the air suit, so the Knight of Swords sits in Libra. Libra sits directly opposite Aries, so this card describes the half of the situation Aries habitually hands to someone else. What it wants is this: write the sentence down and stop rewriting it. Handing that to another person is exactly the habit. Aries is cardinal: it starts things, and this card is about finishing, so the pull will be to begin something new instead. Air and Fire feed each other, so this card's logic will feel natural here. Natural is not the same as correct. Upright, this is the element at full speed with nothing slowing it down.
