Knight of Wands tarot card

"Passion isn't the question. What you do next is."

Six quick picks first, then your reading

On the card

A knight on an adventure, armed with a short wand. Wands represent passion and knights represent quests. Together this card represents a quest/adventure to embark on. Typically the face cards represent a person/event (or a part of yourself embodied).

Upright
PassionAdventureImpulsivenessFearlessness

You are on a quest of some kind to follow your own passion/creative energy. You are acting quickly and decisively as if a knight on a horse running across the countryside. Perhaps you are traveling and meeting new and exciting people (or going back to school again). Romantically, a figure might be entering your life and bringing you inspiration and motivation. Things maybe moving quickly (a touch of love bombing), but sometimes that is just part of the journey.

Reversed

Your plans are interrupted and perhaps you are being blocked in the pursuit of your goal (travel delays, self doubt over the goal, etc). Romantically/interpersonally you are fighting with someone important to you and it's making you doubt the relationship. Perhaps you wanted to buy a house together but now you are unsure if you even want to live in the same city. Doubt is normal, and so is fear. Listen to your inner voice to understand what to do.

Knight of Wands for Libra in The Future

The Harmonizer

Wands are the fire suit, so the Knight of Wands sits in Aries. Aries sits directly opposite Libra, so this card describes the half of the situation Libra habitually hands to someone else. What it wants is this: spend the energy on one thing today. Handing that to another person is exactly the habit. Upright, this is the element at full speed with nothing slowing it down.

When reading about what comes next through a Libra lens, the Knight of Wands says that you feel like the future is something you will know once everyone else has decided, a choice that requires seeing all options before you can pick one, and something that feels risky if you commit before checking that it is also what they want. This has either left you waiting for a future that never quite arrives, or forced you to build one without permission and discovered it was actually the one you wanted all along. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Libra blind spot in it is being the one who breaks the tie, names the problem, or asks for something first.

In practice that can look like a leap, or booking the thing. Whatever form it takes, it arrives fast and without brakes.
