Cups are the water suit, so the Nine of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer sextiles Taurus, which is help that has to be taken up rather than help that arrives. What it asks for is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. Taurus is perfectly capable of that, which is exactly why not doing it needs a better excuse. Upright, it is nearly finished, and the last stretch of it is mostly solitary.
