"Enthusiasm isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A young man stands in the act of proclamation. He is unknown but faithful, and his tidings are strange. Wands represent passion and pages represent a message from the divine. Together this card represents exciting news about adventures and following your creative flow. Typically the face cards represent a person/event (or a part of yourself embodied).
You have received good news or read/watched something inspiring. It has re-ignited a childlike sense of joy. Romantically, your partner brings out a creative side who wants to adventure. Perhaps at work you are about to get get a new job that will open doors for you in a field you have dreamed of. Be open to the messages and let yourself play as a kid again.
You have received good news and are feeling inspired, but have not grounded yourself before acting. Perhaps you are now in a more precarious position than what you wanted. Parent yourself-- it's good to have been excited, and it's okay to have gotten a little carried away, but now you must pause to regulate your emotions and activate your reasoning brain before jumping ahead.

Page of Wands for Cancer
The Nurturer
Cancer is a Water cardinal sign ruled by Moon, whose natural subject is home, roots, family, the private interior. Wands are the fire suit, so the Page of Wands sits in Aries. Aries squares Cancer, so the card asks for the move Cancer is least fluent in: spend the energy on one thing today. The friction is the content, not an obstacle to it. Cancer is cardinal: it starts things, and this card is about finishing, so the pull will be to begin something new instead. The card wants action where the sign is built to feel it through first. One of those has to go second. Upright, this is someone at the start of the element: sincere, curious, not yet any good at it.
