Cups are the water suit, so the Seven of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer sextiles Virgo, which is help that has to be taken up rather than help that arrives. What it asks for is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. Virgo is perfectly capable of that, which is exactly why not doing it needs a better excuse. Upright, the assessment is being made alone, which is where it is easiest to be wrong.
When reading about yourself through a Virgo lens, the Seven of Cups says that you feel like you are a collection of things that could be better, something you monitor constantly (or avoid looking at entirely), and a project that will never be finished.
