"Perseverance isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A young man on a craggy eminence brandishing a staff; six other staves are raised towards him from below. Wands represents passion and the seven card represents agency. Together this card represents holding your ground on the subjects you feel passionate about. It's a challenge to your goal and your battle to continue towards that goal.
You are being challenged from an unexpected foe-- perhaps your have realized your pay is not comparable to others in your role, or you need to give feedback to your partner about how they are treating you, or a close friend has told you something in confidence you are struggling to accept. You must face these challenges and handle them with dignity and grace.
You're feeling of indignation and defensiveness is getting the best of you, causing you to lash out and not take the feedback you need to hear. Perhaps someone is challenging something you are very insecure about. Take a step back when you feel anger guiding your words. Try to understand what is at the root of your pain and unpack that topic instead. If you want to maintain the relationship with the challenger, speak to them and figure out a solution.

Seven of Wands for Aquarius
The Visionary
Aquarius is an Air fixed sign ruled by Saturn, whose natural subject is friendship, community, the collective, the long future. Wands are the fire suit, so the Seven of Wands sits in Aries. Aries sextiles Aquarius, which is help that has to be taken up rather than help that arrives. What it asks for is this: spend the energy on one thing today. Aquarius is perfectly capable of that, which is exactly why not doing it needs a better excuse. Aquarius is fixed: it holds on, and this card sits in the sustained middle, which is the one stretch fixed signs are actually built for. Fire and Air feed each other, so this card's logic will feel natural here. Natural is not the same as correct. Upright, the assessment is being made alone, which is where it is easiest to be wrong.
