Seven of Wands for Sagittarius in The Future

The Seeker

Wands are the fire suit, so the Seven of Wands sits in Sagittarius. That makes this Sagittarius's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Sagittarius already believes it is good at: spend the energy on one thing today. Upright, the assessment is being made alone, which is where it is easiest to be wrong.

When reading about what comes next through a Sagittarius lens, the Seven of Wands says that you feel like the future is wide open and full of possibility, something you can reshape as soon as this version stops fitting, and a reason not to get too attached to right now. This has either kept you optimistic and willing to pivot or has left you unable to commit to any single future long enough to make it real. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Sagittarius blind spot in it is the specific weight of a single commitment, the slowness of actually building something, the possibility that it might not be enough.

In practice that can look like a leap, or booking the thing. Whatever form it takes, it is being weighed alone, where it is easiest to lie to yourself.
