Temperance tarot card

"The answer is not more. The answer is balance."

Six quick picks first, then your reading

On the card

An angel pouring overflowing glimmering liquid from cup to cup. Temperance speaks of balance, but more of a divine balance. Trust in your spirit guides for wisdom and commune with that which you don't understand

Upright
BalanceModerationPatienceHarmony

You have found balance in the middle of this chaotic world, a very rare moment indeed. Do not seek to add or remove too much from your life right now. Just channel the messages from the divine and enjoy being in harmony with the world around you

Reversed

Your world is chaotic, and some of that might be due to your own inability to find balance. Sometimes less is more, consider dropping a few of the balls you are juggling (especially the ones that always seem to roll away the furthest).

One of the 22 Major Arcana. They point to the large themes and turning points in a life, not the day to day. When one comes up, the reading is about something bigger than this week.
StageThe turn inward
After the Fool, the Major Arcana run in three stages of seven: the outer world (1 to 7), the turn inward (8 to 14) and the return (15 to 21). This one is in the turn inward: the point where the tools that worked outside stop working.

Temperance for Pisces in Work and Career

The Dreamer

Jupiter sits outside Pisces's usual Neptune register, so this one arrives as unfamiliar weather. Upright, this has turned inward, to the place where the outer tools stop working.

When reading about work through a Pisces lens, the Temperance says that you feel like work is where you prove your value through knowing what everyone else needs before they do, a place where your own tasks blur into managing the room's emotions, and somewhere you can disappear into usefulness. This has either led to you burning out quietly while everyone else thrives on your labor, or to you becoming so essential that staying feels like the only way to matter. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Pisces blind spot in it is the moment they have to stop being useful and admit they're drowning.

In practice that can look like a change large enough to reorganise the rest, or the job becoming a different job. Whatever form it takes, it is turning inward, where the usual moves stop working.
