Swords are the air suit, so the Ten of Swords sits in Libra. Libra squares Capricorn, so the card asks for the move Capricorn is least fluent in: write the sentence down and stop rewriting it. The friction is the content, not an obstacle to it. Upright, it is complete, which is not automatically the same as good.
When reading about work through a Capricorn lens, the Ten of Swords says that you feel like work is where you prove you are worth keeping around, a problem you solve by solving more problems, and the only place that keeps score in a way you trust. This has either led to building something real and durable that outlasts you or to becoming so necessary that leaving would feel like abandonment.
