The Devilfor Leo · The Future
"You're not stuck. You just think the chains are locked."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The devil card represents our inner demons; he's often in a fiery pit with a kind of subversion of the garden of eden where adam and eve are chained to him. The devil reminds us of our potential salvation, while trying to shackle us to our fears that we will never be worthy of it
You are in a hell, and it's partly of your own making. The situation might be dire, but you deserve better and part of you knows it. Perhaps you are ruminating, calling an ex, or doing some other unhealthy coping mechanism to help the pain you feel inside. Focus on healing your inner child and wounds instead and your problems should become more manageable.
You've done the hard work to face the parts of yourself that you might not like. You dodged a bullet and made the healthy choice even though you were tempted to fall back into old patterns

The Devil for Leo in The Future
The Creator
Saturn sits outside Leo's usual Sun register, so this one arrives as unfamiliar weather. Upright, this is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
When reading about what comes next through a Leo lens, the Devil card says that you feel like the future is something you can script into a highlight reel, something where your name is known (or your work is recognized), and something that should feel like it was always heading toward you. This has either created real ambition that pulls you forward, or left you unable to enjoy the present because it does not yet look like success. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Leo blind spot in it is being ordinary, being forgotten, being the one no one thought to invite, being seen doing something mediocre.
In practice that can look like a door closing and it mattering, or the next chapter starting without permission. Whatever form it takes, it is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
