"Structure isn't the enemy. Rigidity is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A figure sits on a firm chair in a rugged mountain area holding a scepter, orb and wearing a crown. The figure is ready to jump into action at a moment's notice
Look closer.
You are being called to action, leadership or power. A balance between action and emotions gives you mastery over the realm
You are blocked from taking action or true power by a disconnect. Either you are disconnected from your emotions (and are leading without balance) or you are disconnected from your own confidence to take action
The references to different rulers (the node to the Ankh, the scepter and sphere, the throne, the crown) all convey a stern authority. The stature invokes King Solomon judging who is the true mother of a child.

The Emperor for Sagittarius in The Future
The Seeker
Mars against Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius is the harder planet arriving in the softer register. It will feel like being asked to do without something Sagittarius normally uses to smooth things over. Upright, this is happening out in the visible world, where other people can see it and respond to it.
When reading about what comes next through a Sagittarius lens, the Emperor card says that you feel like the future is wide open and full of possibility, something you can reshape as soon as this version stops fitting, and a reason not to get too attached to right now. This has either kept you optimistic and willing to pivot or has left you unable to commit to any single future long enough to make it real. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Sagittarius blind spot in it is the specific weight of a single commitment, the slowness of actually building something, the possibility that it might not be enough.
In practice that can look like a door closing and it mattering, or the next chapter starting without permission. Whatever form it takes, it is happening in the visible world where other people can see it.
