"Structure isn't the enemy. Rigidity is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A figure sits on a firm chair in a rugged mountain area holding a scepter, orb and wearing a crown. The figure is ready to jump into action at a moment's notice
Look closer.
You are being called to action, leadership or power. A balance between action and emotions gives you mastery over the realm
You are blocked from taking action or true power by a disconnect. Either you are disconnected from your emotions (and are leading without balance) or you are disconnected from your own confidence to take action
The references to different rulers (the node to the Ankh, the scepter and sphere, the throne, the crown) all convey a stern authority. The stature invokes King Solomon judging who is the true mother of a child.

The Emperor for Taurus in The Future
The Builder
Mars against Venus-ruled Taurus is the harder planet arriving in the softer register. It will feel like being asked to do without something Taurus normally uses to smooth things over. Upright, this is happening out in the visible world, where other people can see it and respond to it.
When reading about what comes next through a Taurus lens, the Emperor card says that you feel like the future is something you control by not changing, a place you have already planned, and something that should feel familiar. This has either meant building a life so predictable it becomes a cage, or choosing what you want and moving toward it steadily enough to sleep at night. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Taurus blind spot in it is the feeling that the ground is shifting under something they thought was permanent.
In practice that can look like a door closing and it mattering, or the next chapter starting without permission. Whatever form it takes, it is happening in the visible world where other people can see it.
