"Stop producing. Start receiving."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A figure sits in a luxurious chair in a field of tall grass. Embracing their own femininity and sexuality, they are able to enjoy the beauty around them as it unfolds
Look closer.
This card represents the warmer/sensual aspects of femininity (and motherhood) whereas the High Priestess, the card before this, represents the more cool/mysterious aspects of womanhood. You have cultivated something wonderful through a connection to your inner divine and nature. Appreciate the beauty and passion that you attract
You are not attracting the beauty and passion you want. Perhaps you are impatient or perhaps you must connect more with nature or your own raw energy
The imagery (the crown, corn necklace and field) is a nod to depictions of Demeter, the greek goddess of the harvest (and mother to Persephone)

The Empress for Leo in Self and Identity
The Creator
Venus sits outside Leo's usual Sun register, so this one arrives as unfamiliar weather. Upright, this is happening out in the visible world, where other people can see it and respond to it.
When reading about yourself through a Leo lens, the Empress card says that you feel like your image is the thing you are always refining, something that could always be more impressive (or more real), and the constant distance between who you are and who you appear. This has either built genuine self-awareness through the practice of refinement, or left you exhausted from maintaining two different people. You have been so focused on who you think you should be that you haven't checked in with who you actually are. The Leo blind spot in it is being ordinary, being forgotten, being the one no one thought to invite, being seen doing something mediocre.
In practice that can look like something you cannot un-see about yourself, or a season ending. Whatever form it takes, it is happening in the visible world where other people can see it.
