The Foolfor Leo · Love and Relationships

"You already know the answer. You're just scared."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A youth on the start of a journey stands precariously on a cliff, but remains free of anxieties. Holding a rose, a small pack, and guided by a dog. They are unperturbed (and perhaps excited) by the cliff they stand on or the trials they will soon face.
Look closer.
Take a leap of faith to start something new and exciting. The past guides us through our inner voice and tells us to find a balance between the known and unknown. Remember, anxiety and excitement can feel the same in the body. Remain open to new experiences and trust in your own wild heart
Something is blocking you from your new adventure: perhaps fear of the unknown, lack of trust in your own intuition, or a true sense of needing more information before moving forward.
The fool card in earlier version of the deck was called 'the jester', evoking the idea of a court jester who can speak truth to a powerful king or someone who follows their own path. From the card imagery we can see that this card also references the Greek trickster god Hermes (notice the gold boots, the wand and the running position).
Its place in the deck.
Where it shows up.
The Fool for Leo in Love and Relationships
The Creator
Uranus works on a longer clock than Sun-ruled Leo is used to. Whatever this is, it will not resolve on Leo's preferred timeline. Upright, nothing has started yet, and that is the actual content of the card rather than a delay in it.
When reading about relationships through a Leo lens, the Fool card says that you feel like love is something you give in grand gestures and then measure back in kind, something that should feel like being chosen (or being enough), and something you do not know how to do quietly. This has either created partnerships where both people show up fully visible, or left you wondering if anyone would love you if you stopped performing. The thing you're not saying out loud is the thing that matters most. The Leo blind spot in it is being ordinary, being forgotten, being the one no one thought to invite, being seen doing something mediocre.
In practice that can look like a turning point rather than an incident, or meeting someone who changes the shape of it. Whatever form it takes, it has not started, which is the whole point of it.
