A youth on the start of a journey stands precariously on a cliff, but remains free of anxieties. Holding a rose, a small pack, and guided by a dog. They are unperturbed (and perhaps excited) by the cliff they stand on or the trials they will soon face.
Look closer.
Take a leap of faith to start something new and exciting. The past guides us through our inner voice and tells us to find a balance between the known and unknown. Remember, anxiety and excitement can feel the same in the body. Remain open to new experiences and trust in your own wild heart

The fool card in earlier version of the deck was called 'the jester', evoking the idea of a court jester who can speak truth to a powerful king or someone who follows their own path. From the card imagery we can see that this card also references the Greek trickster god Hermes (notice the gold boots, the wand and the running position).

Uranus works on a longer clock than Pluto-ruled Scorpio is used to. Whatever this is, it will not resolve on Scorpio's preferred timeline. Upright, nothing has started yet, and that is the actual content of the card rather than a delay in it.
When reading about health through a Scorpio lens, the Fool card says that you feel like your body is something you ignore until the problem is undeniable, a machine you are behind on maintaining (or refuse to examine closely), and a frontier you do not trust yourself to explore. This has either led to you discovering something serious late, or to you becoming obsessively knowledgeable about the one thing you do decide to fix. The body has been sending the same signal for months and nobody has bothered to listen. The Scorpio blind spot in it is the feeling of being fooled, or of being seen as naive, or of depending on someone who will leave.
In practice that can look like the body making the decision for you, or a genuine reset. Whatever form it takes, it has not started, which is the whole point of it.
