The Sunfor Sagittarius · The Future
"You forgot what joy felt like. This is it."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The sun takes up the whole sky, flowers grow, and the world is clearer than it's been before. The sun burns off the fog of uncertainty and reveals all (unlike the moon which merely shines through the fog). The sun card is based in the hope and joy of the present moment-- you are alive, the sun is shining, and your future awaits.
You have gone to bed one person and woken up a new person. The world around you seems different, the smells are new and the colors are brighter. You are falling in love with your life as you see it in the light of a clear day (perhaps a new love, perhaps seeing an old situation in a new light, start a new hobby that nurtures you)
You are blocked by your own ability to believe that good things are happening for you. Step outside of yourself and look around. Things are looking up!

The Sun for Sagittarius in The Future
The Seeker
Sun is a luminary and Sagittarius runs on Jupiter, so this card lights something up rather than fixing it. It is asking to be seen before it is solved. Upright, this is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
When reading about what comes next through a Sagittarius lens, the Sun card says that you feel like the future is wide open and full of possibility, something you can reshape as soon as this version stops fitting, and a reason not to get too attached to right now. This has either kept you optimistic and willing to pivot or has left you unable to commit to any single future long enough to make it real. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Sagittarius blind spot in it is the specific weight of a single commitment, the slowness of actually building something, the possibility that it might not be enough.
In practice that can look like a door closing and it mattering, or the next chapter starting without permission. Whatever form it takes, it is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
