The sun burns off the fog of uncertainty and reveals all (unlike the moon which merely shines through the fog). The sun card is based in the hope and joy of the present moment-- you are alive, the sun is shining, and your future awaits.
You have gone to bed one person and woken up a new person. The world around you seems different, the smells are new and the colors are brighter. You are falling in love with your life as you see it in the light of a clear day (perhaps a new love, perhaps seeing an old situation in a new light, start a new hobby that nurtures you)
You are blocked by your own ability to believe that good things are happening for you. Step outside of yourself and look around. Things are looking up!

Sun is a luminary and Taurus runs on Venus, so this card lights something up rather than fixing it. It is asking to be seen before it is solved. Upright, this is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
When reading about yourself through a Taurus lens, the Sun card says that you feel like you are a finished thing that should not change, a body with specific rules, and someone who knows what works and sticks to it. This has either meant missing the person you could have become, or developing such clarity about yourself that you move through the world without apology. You have been so focused on who you think you should be that you haven't checked in with who you actually are. The Taurus blind spot in it is the feeling that the ground is shifting under something they thought was permanent.
In practice that can look like something you cannot un-see about yourself, or a season ending. Whatever form it takes, it is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
