The Tower tarot card

"That thing that crumbled? It was supposed to."

Six quick picks first, then your reading

On the card

The tower signifies a breakdown-- like a coup of sorts. You are literally being thrown out of the tower you once called your home. While traditionally a negative card, sometimes you need a big change to reorient your whole life

Upright
UpheavalRevelationSudden ChangeBreakthrough

Take this to heart, something was wrong and the universe is metaphorically blowing your life up for you, what you do in the aftermath is up to you. Perhaps a relationship ended (but maybe it was toxic the whole time), perhaps you were fired (but your free to pursue your true passion), perhaps it's a litany of things, but have faith in yourself and rebuild with your true goals and values at heart.

Reversed

The universe is trying to guide you to make a radical change, but you are blocked from taking that guidance. Perhaps the clues from the universe are less obvious or perhaps you have an iron sense of will. Some things in life are meant to be hard, but you know the difference between doing a hard thing and doing something not meant for you. Use that judgment here; otherwise you are not living your own truth

Major ArcanaCard 16
One of the 22 Major Arcana. They point to the large themes and turning points in a life, not the day to day. When one comes up, the reading is about something bigger than this week.
StageThe return
After the Fool, the Major Arcana run in three stages of seven: the outer world (1 to 7), the turn inward (8 to 14) and the return (15 to 21). This one is in the return: meeting what was buried, and coming back changed rather than fixed.

The Tower for Libra in The Future

The Harmonizer

Mars against Venus-ruled Libra is the harder planet arriving in the softer register. It will feel like being asked to do without something Libra normally uses to smooth things over. Upright, this is surfacing whether or not it was invited.

When reading about what comes next through a Libra lens, the Tower card says that you feel like the future is something you will know once everyone else has decided, a choice that requires seeing all options before you can pick one, and something that feels risky if you commit before checking that it is also what they want. This has either left you waiting for a future that never quite arrives, or forced you to build one without permission and discovered it was actually the one you wanted all along. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Libra blind spot in it is being the one who breaks the tie, names the problem, or asks for something first.

In practice that can look like a door closing and it mattering, or the next chapter starting without permission. Whatever form it takes, it is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
