The Towerfor Cancer · The Future
"That thing that crumbled? It was supposed to."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The tower signifies a breakdown-- like a coup of sorts. You are literally being thrown out of the tower you once called your home. While traditionally a negative card, sometimes you need a big change to reorient your whole life
Take this to heart, something was wrong and the universe is metaphorically blowing your life up for you, what you do in the aftermath is up to you. Perhaps a relationship ended (but maybe it was toxic the whole time), perhaps you were fired (but your free to pursue your true passion), perhaps it's a litany of things, but have faith in yourself and rebuild with your true goals and values at heart.
The universe is trying to guide you to make a radical change, but you are blocked from taking that guidance. Perhaps the clues from the universe are less obvious or perhaps you have an iron sense of will. Some things in life are meant to be hard, but you know the difference between doing a hard thing and doing something not meant for you. Use that judgment here; otherwise you are not living your own truth
Its place in the deck.

The Tower for Cancer in The Future
The Nurturer
Mars sits outside Cancer's usual Moon register, so this one arrives as unfamiliar weather. Upright, this is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
When reading about what comes next through a Cancer lens, the Tower card says that you feel like the future is a home you are building in your mind, it should feel like a place you belong (or like a place that wants you), and you are afraid it will not come. This has either kept you planning endlessly without moving, or given you the patience to build something real. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Cancer blind spot in it is being seen as a burden, or as someone whose needs are too much.
In practice that can look like a door closing and it mattering, or the next chapter starting without permission. Whatever form it takes, it is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
