Why do I keep pulling Two of Pentacles as a Aries?

As a Aries, pulling Two of Pentacles repeatedly suggests a focus on balance and adaptability. Action, courage, impatience, independence. Pay attention to: rushing in without thinking.

Two of Pentaclesfor Aries

"Balance isn't the question. What you do next is."

Six quick picks first, then your reading

On the card

A young man, in the act of dancing, has a pentacle in either hand, and they are joined by that endless cord which is like the number 8 reversed. Pentacles represents wealth and the two card represents balance. Together this card signifies that you must balance your priorities to continue your journey towards prosperity. Balance here meaning that some things will fall to the back when something else comes to the foreground.

Upright

BalanceAdaptabilityPrioritiesJuggling

When you are juggling, sometimes balls drop. You cannot always keep everything up, they must come back down. The two of pentacles calls us to decide ahead of time which ball we will drop. Sometimes this means prioritizing work over a relationship. If you are juggling multiple partners, responsibilities or commitments this card advises you to pick carefully what to focus on.

Reversed

You've been balancing so many things for so long and forcing yourself to focus on everything. This is wearing you out and you feel you cannot let anything drop. Tensions are high and you are making mistakes or doing things that are unaligned with what you value. You must let some things drop so that you can continue to grow the things that will bring you true prosperity

Pentacles are the suit of Earth: matter and time. A Pentacles card is always, underneath, about the body, the money, the calendar, the actual physical situation.

NumberTwo

The numbers tell a story inside each suit, from a seed at the Ace to the full expression at Ten. Two is the first other: the thing meets a second thing and has to negotiate.

♈

Two of Pentacles for Aries

The Initiator

Aries is a Fire cardinal sign ruled by Mars, whose natural subject is the self, the body, first impressions. Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Two of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn squares Aries, so the card asks for the move Aries is least fluent in: change one concrete arrangement this week. The friction is the content, not an obstacle to it. Aries is cardinal: it starts things, and this is a card about starting, so the danger is starting again instead of continuing. The card and the sign pull in different directions, and the friction is the information. Upright, the second thing has actually arrived and the negotiation between them is live.
