Two of Pentaclesfor Cancer
"Balance isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A young man, in the act of dancing, has a pentacle in either hand, and they are joined by that endless cord which is like the number 8 reversed. Pentacles represents wealth and the two card represents balance. Together this card signifies that you must balance your priorities to continue your journey towards prosperity. Balance here meaning that some things will fall to the back when something else comes to the foreground.
When you are juggling, sometimes balls drop. You cannot always keep everything up, they must come back down. The two of pentacles calls us to decide ahead of time which ball we will drop. Sometimes this means prioritizing work over a relationship. If you are juggling multiple partners, responsibilities or commitments this card advises you to pick carefully what to focus on.
You've been balancing so many things for so long and forcing yourself to focus on everything. This is wearing you out and you feel you cannot let anything drop. Tensions are high and you are making mistakes or doing things that are unaligned with what you value. You must let some things drop so that you can continue to grow the things that will bring you true prosperity

Two of Pentacles for Cancer
The Nurturer
Cancer is a Water cardinal sign ruled by Moon, whose natural subject is home, roots, family, the private interior. Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Two of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn sits directly opposite Cancer, so this card describes the half of the situation Cancer habitually hands to someone else. What it wants is this: change one concrete arrangement this week. Handing that to another person is exactly the habit. Cancer is cardinal: it starts things, and this is a card about starting, so the danger is starting again instead of continuing. Earth and Water feed each other, so this card's logic will feel natural here. Natural is not the same as correct. Upright, the second thing has actually arrived and the negotiation between them is live.
