Two of Wands tarot card

"Planning isn't the question. What you do next is."

Six quick picks first, then your reading

On the card

A tall man looks from a battlemented roof over sea and shore; he ponders the globe and his power over it. Wands represent passion and two represents duality. Together this card represents a choice to be made: stay or go. Both options will lead to prosperity, but we have to pick one.

Upright
PlanningFuture VisionDiscoveryDecisions

Your passion has led you to a crossroads. Stay doing something you love, or branch out to a new horizon. You are able to build the life you want with either route, but you cannot have both. Perhaps you are called to travel/trips or perhaps you are deciding to leave your hometown. Listen to your deep truth and do not let fear of change hold you back, but don't let the excitement of newness be your only motivation.

Reversed

You are moving quickly, following one of your passions and perhaps not listening to your true inner voice. Diving full steam into a new relationship without figuring out what broke down in your previous one; quitting a job without new plans for a new one. Slow down, listen to what your intuition is telling you-- safety is not always the enemy. Sometimes running ahead lets us avoid figuring out what we truly want.

Two of Wands for Leo in Money and Wealth

The Creator

Wands are the fire suit, so the Two of Wands sits in Leo. That makes this Leo's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Leo already believes it is good at: spend the energy on one thing today. Upright, the second thing has actually arrived and the negotiation between them is live.

When reading about money through a Leo lens, the Two of Wands says that you feel like money is for the life that photographs well, for gifts that make an impact (or create a memory), and for belonging in rooms where you are not sure you fit. This has either created generosity that actually changes people's lives, or left you spending to prove something that money cannot actually prove. You have not looked at your full financial picture all at once, and the not-looking costs more than the looking would. The Leo blind spot in it is being ordinary, being forgotten, being the one no one thought to invite, being seen doing something mediocre.

In practice that can look like a risk with money, or earning from something you actually like. Whatever form it takes, it is becoming a two person situation.
