Ace of Wandsfor Aries · Work and Career
"Inspiration isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A hand issuing from a cloud grasps a wand above lush landscape. Wands represent passion and the ace represents the start of a new journey. Together this card represents a passionate vision or energy that sparks a new adventure.
You have the spark of an idea-- follow it! Lots of exciting energy is swirling around you, perhaps you just met someone new and are in the throws of a new relationship (or have found a new facet in someone you know well). Outside of romance, you have a business idea or project to pursue which is lighting a fire under you.
You are being held back from something you are passionate about-- perhaps because it will mean a change for you or perhaps you are afraid you might not achieve the vision. Either way, let the passion and creativity flow and make plans.

Ace of Wands for Aries in Work and Career
The Initiator
Wands are the fire suit, so the Ace of Wands sits in Aries. That makes this Aries's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Aries already believes it is good at: spend the energy on one thing today. An ace is a seed rather than a result. Upright it means the thing is genuinely available and completely untested.
When reading about work through an Aries lens, the Ace of Wands says that you feel like work is the place you prove you are not wasting time, a problem to solve fast (or escape), and something that only matters if you can see the finish line tomorrow. This has either led to building something from nothing in record time or to leaving behind half-finished things because the sprint ended and the marathon scared you. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Aries blind spot in it is the feeling that nothing you do makes any difference, that you are not the center of the story.
In practice that can look like wanting to quit. Whatever form it takes, it is just arriving and has not been tested yet.
