Ace of Wandsfor Sagittarius · Work and Career
"Inspiration isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A hand issuing from a cloud grasps a wand above lush landscape. Wands represent passion and the ace represents the start of a new journey. Together this card represents a passionate vision or energy that sparks a new adventure.
You have the spark of an idea-- follow it! Lots of exciting energy is swirling around you, perhaps you just met someone new and are in the throws of a new relationship (or have found a new facet in someone you know well). Outside of romance, you have a business idea or project to pursue which is lighting a fire under you.
You are being held back from something you are passionate about-- perhaps because it will mean a change for you or perhaps you are afraid you might not achieve the vision. Either way, let the passion and creativity flow and make plans.

Ace of Wands for Sagittarius in Work and Career
The Seeker
Wands are the fire suit, so the Ace of Wands sits in Sagittarius. That makes this Sagittarius's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Sagittarius already believes it is good at: spend the energy on one thing today. An ace is a seed rather than a result. Upright it means the thing is genuinely available and completely untested.
When reading about work through a Sagittarius lens, the Ace of Wands says that you feel like work is the place you prove you can master something fast, a stepping stone to the thing you actually want, and the point at which comfort starts to feel like a cage. This has either led you to build real expertise in one thing or to have a resume full of chapters with no book. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Sagittarius blind spot in it is the specific weight of a single commitment, the slowness of actually building something, the possibility that it might not be enough.
In practice that can look like wanting to quit. Whatever form it takes, it is just arriving and has not been tested yet.
