"Walking Away isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
This card is about seeing all the possibilities and not liking any of them. Sometimes you are told that the only options are the ones right in front of you, but in many situations that is not actually true. Walking away is also an option-- this card reminds us to not be limited by what we see before us and to seek out new/novel ideas
Everything feels like it should be perfect, but deep down you are unsatisfied. Maybe you are unhappy in a relationship that on paper looks great, maybe you are miserable at a job that pays well, or maybe you come home after a hangout with your cup less full than when you left. Pay attention to these signs, they are telling you to seek out a new path. Cutting ties may be painful, but living according to your own values will feel more rewarding (and sustainable) long term
You are denying your deep truth about a situation, you know it's not quite a perfect fit, but due to some reason (maybe trauma, maybe comfort, maybe fear of change) you are not listening to the signs that are clear in front of you. The eight of cups reversed reminds you to listen to your own truth

Eight of Cups for Pisces in Health and Energy
The Dreamer
Cups are the water suit, so the Eight of Cups sits in Pisces. That makes this Pisces's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Pisces already believes it is good at: say the feeling to the person it is about. Upright, the work is available, and it is repetitive rather than dramatic.
When reading about health through a Pisces lens, the Eight of Cups says that you feel like your body is a signal you can ignore, pain is something to numb or postpone until it screams, and admitting you're suffering feels like complaining or demanding too much. This has either kept you functional through crisis by numbing out completely, or meant that by the time you pay attention the problem has grown teeth. The body has been sending the same signal for months and nobody has bothered to listen. The Pisces blind spot in it is the moment they have to stop being useful and admit they're drowning.
In practice that can look like sleep coming back. Whatever form it takes, it is going to take unglamorous repetition.
